On Friday 6th of June 2014 and in the framework of the European program «HEAVEN ON EARTH?», a Pan European Symposium with the title "The road to paradise is under construction?"
will be held at Eleusis City Hall at Eleusis with participants from
England, Spain, Turkey, France and Italy. Presentations and discussions
on Jean Genet and the issues arising from his life and his work, as:
relationship between art and crime, punishment , criminal justice system
and society, theater and its social and political role, art in
'marginalized' groups, etc.
The symposium is addressed to actors - drama school students - dancers - choreographers - theatrologists.
